Rehersal Night

Not as smooth as it is because announcement is very short but I am really glad that I get to see a glimps of what will happen on the actual wedding. At this moment I was still on cloud nine as we state our piece and put each other rings in our finger... this all  just part but the feeling is already overwhelming what more on The Day itself. The real thing. I just prayed that all will be in order.

Marriage Certificate

Yey, We got our our Marriage Certificate at last! Here's what we did.

1. We went to NSO main at East Ave to request for our Birth Certificate and Cenomar.
-We went early in the morning. I think It was a monday.  It only took us around 30 min for the whole process but we have to be back in the afternoon for the releasing of Birth Certificate. For the Cenomar releasing will be on thursday but no need to fall in line.

2 Cenomars and 2 copies each of our Birth Certificate cost us P950.

2. I went to our Town  (Taytay ) Municipal Hall's Registrar Office to request for Marriage Certificate. Since we are both of legal age we no longer need our parent consent or approval. We just have to provide our Cenomars, application form, Certificate of Completion of Family Planning and some Fees.

3. Seminars in our Municipal Hall held only every Tuesdays. I thougth it will only be a few hours but It  was a whole day event. Lucky us that the venue will be needed so we have to rush the discussion. We came around 8:30  and finished at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

4. Same day as the seminar after taking our lunch we went back to the Registrars Office to provide all the needed documents. We both have to show up.

Marriage License Fee P450

5. After 10 working days.. Yepee I already have our license.

But its not the end of it...We need to provide this document to our church for them to prepare the Marriage Contract.

How it Started.

Sherwin and I attended the same church but we dont know each other. He first saw me at one of our Church activity, Win Leadership Institute (WLI).  I was late during at that time, according to him he is already checking out on me as soon as I enters the door. After the class he was a little bit dissapointed when he cannot find me anymore.  I just had to drop by to the grocery before the main service starts and as soon as I'm done I went back to church. There I saw him sitting on the same lane.  He approached me with a friendly smile and we had a little chitchat. We were formally introduced by a common friend. Got each others phone numbers and the rest is history.

Largos Nature Garden and D' Chef Catering

This is the first venue that we have checked with H2b. And He liked it. I like how he compared it with Glass Garden. They also have a Luto mo Service Ko that we are considering at that time. The owners are very accomodating to our queries. (and that's very important right?). Dra. Aileen, owner of the catering service advise us to visit them on the 27th for the food tasting and for us to see the difference between the Full catering service and the Service only package that they have. The place is not perfect but it will do for couples wiht tight budget like us. I'm just praying that we will able to find resolution on the possible problems. Some of these are:
  • No Aircondition
  • The place looks crowded for P150pax set up
  • Parking Space.
Crossing our fingers and lifting up these concern to GOD. Fighting..

We are looking on P54,750 venue and food for 150 pax .

Coordinator

We have Ms. Cecille Dela Cruz as our wedding coordinator. At first I didn't thought of needing a coordinator... but it turns out that this one is a Must have specially for wedding like ours.
We just have our first meeting today... and I was so overwhelmed of my To do's. She used to be a full time in this profession but unfortunately for us but good for her.. She already have a day job (9am-9pm) so she cannot do the full coordination. The best that she can do for us is the on-the-day coordination and consultations. With this deal I tried to bargain from Php 2,000 down  to Php5,000. - and she agreed. Another blessing from God. She a dear friend to me and our Officiating Pastor and emecee have worked with her already so it would make everything easier for us.
